Organic DE. Si, Silicon plays a very important role in plant physiology. It contributes to cellular wall strength.
It assists in both "SAR", systemic acquired resistance and "ISR", induced systemic resistance. The product contains a high percentage available Si as well as other useful nutrients, including Ca.
The fine micronisation of DE, creates plant available Si through the plant leaves. Conversion of Si into monosilicic acid, takes place in the soil through microbial action. The monosilicic acid is taken up by roots into the plant.
Application
Organic DE. Si is to be applied at 2 to 4 Litres/hectare in 400 - 600 litres of water/hectare.
Ideal Surfactant Mixes:
SB Rootsure at 2.5 L per Ha.
SB Chitosan FD 10% at 2 L per Ha
SB Chitosan FD 6% at 2.5 L per Ha.
