Gypsum Granule is a rich source of both calcium and sulphur – both essential macro elements for plant health and nutrition. Gypsum has a neutralising value of zero and will not affect the pH of the soil. Gypsum improves plant protein levels and soil structure by increasing the friability of soils - soluble calcium flocculates swelling clay soils allowing air and water movement and promoting microbial action. Plant cell walls are strengthened by calcium, increasing disease- resistance.
